Job Description

Write / edit / collate and update content
As part of a cross-functional team, partner with marketing & communications team members, practice leaders and operations leaders to develop content in a collaborative environment.
Create product and promotional copy for all website and online marketing efforts including repurposed content and original writing.
Ensure editorial content is written and presented in a format that meets web usability standards and is consistent with company information design guidelines and brand image.
Exhibit drive and initiative in day-to-day maintenance of Genpact’s web sites in terms of updated content, functionality, design and navigation.
Collaborate with team members to enhance website functionality and develop innovative ways to effectively meet the needs of the marketing team.
Actively participate and contribute to the team’s creativity, efficiency and accomplishment of broad goals identified by the marketing team.
Perform any other duties essential to web development, such as SEO & traffic analysis and online marketing, including Search Engine Marketing, etc.

Skill sets – Required
Knowledge of web usability standards and practices including SEO, SEM, Web Analytics, etc.
Functional command of HTML, Web and design tools with prior experience of developing and maintaining websites
Ability to handle multiple assignments and tasks while meeting deadlines and thrive in a challenging and collaborative work environment.
Experience in a marketing or communication team on a BPO or IT company.
Mix of strong business writing, analytical bent and marketing acumen.
At least 4-5 years of experience with proven web writing and strong editing skills, including service descriptions and promotional copy.
Knowledge of web usability standards and practices including SEO, SEM, Web Analytics.
Functional command of HTML, Web and design tools.
Ability to handle multiple assignments and tasks while meeting deadlines and thrive in a challenging and collaborative work environment.
