Job Description
Reporting to the Vice President-Marketing in Singapore, and the Managing Director of Bangalore the primary responsibilities of this position include:
Work with the Marketing Team to develop vision and measurable goals for the web, providing hands-on analysis of usability studies, functionality, and bottom line results.
Develop and implement programs to drive traffic and generate qualified sales leads.
Coordinate the development, implementation, monitoring and tracking of email campaigns and newsletters and manage online marketing related email lists, working closely with the Database Administrator/System Architect, and report on ROI.
Work with the regional marketing team and product managers to develop and track the production of promotional copy for all online and marketing content including banners, ads, email campaigns, landing pages, websites, brochures, handouts, product fact sheets, etc.
Initiate and coordinate the development, implementation, monitoring, tracking and optimizing of Pay-Per-Click campaigns such as Google AdWords, Google Grants, Yahoo Search Marketing, etc.
Coordinate the development, implementation, monitoring, tracking and reporting on various social media such as blogs, RSS, podcasts, social networking sites, etc. to build awareness and gauge the frequency and appropriate representation of IDC, key analysts, products and services, and other IDC related references.
Initiate, coordinate and track relevant content inclusion opportunities with potential online partners to further increase awareness of IDC’s areas of expertise and key services offered.
Engage in ongoing, continuing education and proactive research to determine contemporary online marketing best practices, uncover new methodologies/technologies, identify potential partnerships/vendors, generate new promotional programs/ideas, etc.
Provide support on special projects related to marketing of IDC’s products, services and events.
Desired Profile
Interested individuals that meet the following minimum requirements are encouraged to apply:
Bachelors Degree and 3 to 4 years of Web Marketing experience, preferably in a professional services/market research firm·
Proficiency with MS Office, Project, Visio, Photoshop, Pagemaker, Quark, Illustrator, basic HTML or Java Script, graphic design, Web applications, Desktop Publishing and Web authoring systems such as Dreamweaver, Flash, JAVA Script and Director.
Must have excellent communication and writing skills, and professional experience creating messaging/content for online initiatives including email campaigns, banner ads, landing pages, marketing collateral, websites, etc — ideally using HTML within a web development environment.
Experience using web analytic tools.
Strong understanding of web design, development and management processes.
Strong understanding of eMarketing strategy, internet-based consumer behavior, and direct marketing tactics.
Ability to build and maintain relationships on all levels, and work well with others.
Proven creativity, initiative, follow through, ability to work independently, problem solve and meet deadlines.
Experience with e-mail marketing, branding, marketing, and search optimization.
Strong analytical background.
Citizens of the Republic of India, Permanent Residents, or those currently authorized to work in India.
The Senior Web Marketing Executive candidate should be able to work effectively, both independently and as part of a team, consistently maintaining and meeting deadlines, and communicating information internally throughout the region to internal clients. A sense of ownership, strong organizational and project management skills, are essential to succeed in this exciting role.
